Comments: My furnace fan stopped running on a very hot Sunday evening, leaving us with no A/C. I got a phone call from AJB literally 3 minutes after I submitted the request to ServiceMagic. He didn't have a furnace motor on hand, but I was told they could come first thing in the morning with the part. I couldn't support the early morning, but set up an appointment for 2pm. The technician showed up at 2:30 and was done in about 1 1/2 hours. I paid $580 for a $150 motor&capcitor and 1.5 hours labor, but having a cool wife quickly was worth the cost. The other contractors contacted me Monday mid-morning, but the early bird got the worm.
